Take a deep breath and look inside your own brain. You may have to dust out some corners, or brush off the cobwebs; some of you may even have to break down a few barbed-wire fences to get to who you really are. Think about what you want – I mean really want, and see if this aligns with what you are doing in your life right now. Why or why not? Are you being true to yourself? Do you speak to yourself with integrity? As far as I’ve learned, you are the only you in the whole world, so why not celebrate that fact and be really, really good to yourself. You’ve got to live with you every day – you are your best friend – why not start treating yourself that way? If you want that body; that mind; that face; that life; to be the best it can possibly be, why not make it so? You are the only person who has control over this because you are the only person who has control over what you think.
Margaret Thatcher quote:
“Watch your thoughts for they become words.
Watch your words for they become actions.
Watch your actions for they become habits.
Watch your habits for they become your character.
And watch your character for it becomes your destiny.
What we think, we become.”
Who are you willing to become?
